Purchased this for my Ruger 45/22. Went on quickly (following the tips included on package). Trimmed slightly to fit,(as recommended) as this is a universal type add-on. Grip works and feels great, adding excellent stability and comfort when shooting. Only caveat is that with the 45/22, the grip prevents breakdown of the pistol for cleaning (if you understand how this 22 is made), as it covers the release mechanism in the handle.
However, the pistol can still be cleaned about 75%, sufficient for most of the fouling which occurs. The good news is the grip can be removed without much trouble for total breakdown and cleaning and reinstall when done.
Good investment for the money, an excellent upgrade. Would definitely recommend for this pistol. Cannot comment on how well it works for others. Get more detail about Hogue® Handall Universal Rubber Sleeve With Finger Grooves And Palm Swells.
