A tremendous lantern, especially if you're backpacking with a buddy and stuck inside a shelter during a rainy night. My brother and I were caught in a rain storm one night on the Ouachita Trail; fortunately, we were at one of the shelters, but a fire was out of the question. This little thing lit up the entire shelter and lasted for about 4-5 hours on re-chargeable batteries. In retrospect, it would have lasted a whole lot longer had I used lithium batteries instead.
