Simple device used to hold the kayaks on the wall. Nicely made and attractive. Easy to install. I was using the double string hoist to raise them to the ceiling but found it very difficult due to the angle and length of the kayaks. These come at a great price and I highly recommend them. If you feel it needs more foam just add some bubblewrap or pipe foam to it, but there should be no wear, as some reviewers were concerned about.
