This watch was a Christmas present for my wife -- not as romantic as jewelry, but more romantic than a kitchen appliance or a table saw. It's a very practical watch because it's rugged (while still looking good), and being solar powered means that the waterproofing is unlikely to be compromised by battery changing. We haven't really tested the atomic clock feature, although we think it's turned on and the watch keeps excellent time. The only suggestions we have for improvement would be to offer different color bands, and the white band material shows some possibility that it may discolor a very small amount. We will have to see how it stands up to daily use.
