The hat is very soft on the outside lined with black fleece. The inside is lined with UA protection from the cold and it's gray in color. The fit is tight but it's just the right amount so it is comfortable and yet it will not fly off the head easily on windy days. The UA logo is more metal like and not white. I like this as the logo does not jump out at you as if it were white in color. Instead it blends in - very nice.
