I have ordered this airhorn before from other places(they last about 6 months to a year) where it comes with the actual pump to refill the air horn with air. If you don't already have the pump, then I would not purchase this product from tis particular vendor. I would only purchase the air horn alone (without the pump) if I already owned the pump. Having said that, you can get the air horn with the pump at most other internet sites that sell this product. I have bought it at [...] several times but it is more expensive with the pump.
Anyway, I use it to walk my 3 pit bulls everyday. I can't take a chance of having any stray dogs come up to my dogs. If they do, I blow the air horn, simple as that. This usually works to scare any loose dogs away! I feel much safer with it than without it. I have been using it for 5 years and I usually have to purchase a new one every 9 months or so.
